Ana Mirkovic

CEO and Co-Founder DCI

The person from whom our story began, when she co-founded the Digital Communications Institute together with Boris Trivan.

Ana’s story is one of both the beginnings and the continuity of digital transformation and digital marketing in our region. Every day, she leads major efforts to ensure that our children, and all of us, are safe and smart in the online world, and that professionals working in digital marketing gain access to the latest knowledge in the field.

She shares her extensive expertise as a consultant on digital transformation and digital marketing projects with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, on the EU project “Support to Media Reforms,” which supported the development of a media literacy handbook for pre-university education, in cooperation with Save the Children. For many years, she has also served as an advisor on digital violence on projects implemented by UNICEF Serbia.

She addresses the internet, family, emotions, and other important and far-reaching topics in conversations with children and parents as the author and host of the TV program “Porodicna mreza” on RTS, as part of the school and educational programming.

She completed her Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Belgrade and earned her PhD at the United Nations University – European Center for Peace and Development, at the Department of Strategic Management, defending her dissertation titled “Research and Analysis of the Relationship Between the Level of Digital and Media Literacy and the Skills That Form the Foundation of Contemporary Civic Society.”

She is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Organizational Studies Eduka.
